District to test new deck surface at Willow Creek Boardwalk

Upcoming scheduled maintenance at Willow Creek Boardwalk may force temporary closures or restricted access during mid-February.

THPRD is testing a new deck surface, and will replace the existing decking in four test areas. The project began on Wednesday, Feb. 15, and should be complete by March 1st.

After the test surface is installed, THPRD is inviting residents who use the Willow Creek Boardwalk to provide input on the new surface, which is scheduled to remain in place until fall. Comments will be reviewed, surface wear analyzed and a decision made whether or not to use this product on a larger scale at this or other sites.
