AARP Driver Safety Program classes are held at the Stuhr Center about once a month. These classroom refresher courses are designed to meet the needs of older drivers.
Participants sharpen their driving skills and develop strategies for adjusting to age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Participants must attend the entire six-hour session (one or two days) to receive a certificate.
For a list of upcoming classes, please call the Stuhr Center or use the AARP's class locator. Registration is available one month in advance of each scheduled class.
Registration is first-come, first-served, based on space availability. Classes fill quickly.
The cost of the class is $15 fee for current AARP members, $20 for non-members. Please bring a check, payable to AARP, to the beginning of the class.
