Whatever your motivation, THPRD has a sports team for you. Everyone can play; leagues are divided by level of skill and competition.

THPRD offers adult basketball, softball, kickball and volleyball leagues for those who are still playing after all these years. Soccer teams are offered by the Oregon Adult Soccer Association, which uses THPRD's soccer fields for league games and practices. Get up, get moving, get out of the house, and get your friends together to have fun!
Team sports encourage cooperation and respect for others and teach problem-solving skills while building strength and fitness.
Baseball, softball, football, soccer, lacrosse, and cricket leagues are run by affiliated groups that manage registration, team formation, and scheduling. They work closely with THPRD staff to allocate field use, address league needs and concerns, and ensure trained coaches and a quality program.
Interested in Becoming a THPRD Sports Affiliate?
THPRD partners with organized sports clubs to provide recreational and competitive sports leagues to the community. These clubs each have a governing body and meet specific criteria to become an affiliate. Affiliates sign three-year agreements with THPRD and are provided unique partnership benefits while accessing our facilities. Each club must identify as a recreational or competitive affiliate. Affiliation is for league games and practices and does not include single events or tournaments. This application process is not used for tournaments or special events.
No tryouts where cuts are made
Maximum of two practices and one to two games per week
Goal of 100% of participants living within THPRD and the Beaverton School District’s boundaries
Year-round practices and/or games
More than two practices per week
At least 80% of players must live In-district
Additional Out-of-District fees apply
THPRD must have field, gym, or pool capacity in order to add an affiliate. Groups requesting the use of district-owned and operated facilities are invited to apply to become an affiliate. THPRD staff and the Affiliate Review Committee will evaluate and score applications to determine who it can support as part of its affiliate program. Those who are not accepted as an affiliate may alternatively be welcomed as a partner/associate, renter, or commercial renter. A user’s classification will determine the level of support provided by THPRD and hourly use fees.
Our classification system prioritizes groups serving in-district patrons, recreational-based programs, and those aligned with the district's mission. This process ensures that publicly funded facilities and services benefit district residents and are not used for personal or corporate gain. THPRD is always the priority—we take care of our programs, special events and Beaverton School District, prior to allocating time to the recreational and competitive affiliates.
