Eichler Park features the district's first and only BMX pump track. Learn more »
Located in central Beaverton adjacent SW Farmington Rd., Eichler Park is a two-and-a-half acre neighborhood park that includes a playground, a basketball court, open grass lawns for active play, and a community garden.
Eichler Park is unique among THPRD parks for its bike park, located at the west end of the park. The park was bulit in 2011 (and updated in 2014) with the Northwest Trail Alliance and the contributions of dedicated volunteers. Bikers of different ages and skill levels can practice on an off-road bike course and traverse through the area’s only “pump track.” If you are looking for a place to ride your bike off-trail, and perhaps get a little dusty, Eichler Park is a can’t-miss destination.
THPRD is partnering with the Northwest Trails Alliance to expand the bike track at Eichler Park. The bike track will be extended toward the south end of the park to improve safety. This expansion will add more space between riders, promote access to a variety of skill levels, and improve the overall function of the bike track. This project also includes the addition of picnic tables, the building of a split rail fence as a safety barrier between bikers and other park visitors, and the development of a centralized main entrance, which will provide better visibility and safety for park visitors.

this project through a community survey. Community
responses and comments expressed very strong support for
During the recent community visioning process, people prioritized improving existing park amenities and the importance of expanding more active sports, like the bike track. This project helps the district fulfill that goal and is directly responsive to community feedback.
Construction is currently planned to start on May 1 and finish by May 31, 2021. Construction will take place over the weekends and will allow other areas of the park to remain open, including the play area.
