Learn a life skill, channel your inner Olympian or gain more flexibility and better muscle tone with regular aquatic exercise. Regardless of skill level - from the littlest polliwog to a seasoned, confident swimmer - we will provide excellent teaching staff, serving 30,000 swimmers a year, including 2,000 experiencing disabilities in our beautiful, clean pools at eight locations throughout the Beaverton area.
The THPRD Aquatics Department is dedicated to providing a fun and creative atmosphere for the development of swimming skills for youth and adults in our community. In partnership with USA Swimming Foundation, we have been able to provide free swim lessons to over 160 youth.
We believe in the value of swimming as a lifetime skill, as well as healthy recreational activity. Our Red Cross affiliated Learn to Swim program includes five levels.
