ABOUT
Housed in a former elementary school originally built in the 1950's, the Cedar Hills Recreation Center features a wide variety of recreational programming. Our facility offers fitness classes, weight/cardio rooms, 9-month preschool and THRIVE elementary afterschool programs, an indoor gymnasium, an indoor play park (seasonal), fully equipped gymnastics room, kitchen for cooking, middle school Track & Field/Cross Country, and hundreds of recreational classes, camps, activities and special events for all ages, year-round! We are located on SW Cedar Hills Blvd and SW Park Way. If the front parking lot is full, an additional back parking lot is available off of SW Berkshire St.

The purpose of this celebration is to encourage all children to explore the world of books, promote education, and foster a love for learning while celebrating the richness of cultural diversity.
Volunteer at this fun, family-oriented event! Provide assistance setting up for the event, greeting event attendees, assisting with crafts and games, and cleaning up after the event. Please bring a reusable water bottle to drink from throughout your shift.
