Rec Mobile

Every child deserves a chance at a healthy lifestyle that includes active play, challenging activities, creative projects, encouraging mentors and healthy food!

THPRD's Rec Mobiles provide free athletic, artistic and educational programs at local schools, parks and housing complexes. Our two cheerfully appointed vehicles have been equipped with sports and recreation equipment, arts and craft supplies and more.

Programs

Summer Day Camp (June-August): During the summer, the Rec Mobile partners with the Beaverton School District to offer free day camp programs at free summer meal sites. The Rec Mobile sends out two crews, Monday-Friday, to visit different schools, parks and apartment complexes. The crews remain at each site for 3 hours and engage youth participants (ages 5+) in sports activities, games, arts & crafts and more!

Winter & Spring Break (December & March): During Winter and Spring Break, the Rec Mobile visits apartment complexes in the district to provide youth ages 5+ with free activities from 10:30 am - 3 pm.

Friday Night Fun (September-May): On select Fridays, the Rec Mobile team visits apartment complexes within the district to provide free activities for kids and families from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Rent the Rec Mobile

Rec Mobile services can be rented year-round for company picnics, block parties, birthday parties and more. Proceeds directly offset the cost of our free programs, allowing us to make a bigger impact on the youth in our community.

The Rec Mobile can travel to you at vitually any location! Available activities include: face painting, jump house inflatable, arts & crafts, sports activities and more!
